Health Care Bill
In a vote of 219 to 212, the House of Representatives passed the Health Care Reform bill on Sunday night. To read more about the history of the health care debate, check out The New York Times.
The bill requires all Americans to have health coverage by 2014. In six months, the bill will ensure health insurance companies do not deny children with pre-existing conditions, and insurers will not be able to eliminate coverage when people are sick.
