Some market news on a Friday!

The SEC charged Goldman Sachs with fraud on subprime mortgages and the  shares dropped more than five percent.

Both Bank of America and General Electric their topped earnings forecasts, but for both companies, shares dropped about three percent.

A new study shows that consumer sentiment has plummeted to the lowest in five months. Consumers tend to have a negative outlook on their own income and job prospects, though they believe the economy will continue to improve.
