Location, location, location! The real estate agents’ old mantra not only applies to where to buy your home, but also where to run your business. If you don’t live in Virginia or Texas, maybe you should consider relocating. This week CNBC released their annual list of top states for business and for the 5th year in a row Virginia and Texas came out on top. This year Virginia was number one.
What sets these two states apart for businesses? CNBC gives points to every state based on:

This year Virginia earned 1,660 out of 2, 500 points, more points than CNBC has ever rewarded any state.
