Support for Veteran-Owned Small Businesses

After serving our country in the armed forces veterans who own small businesses or want to start small businesses can find support from the National Veteran Small Business Coalition.

The NVSB is an organization seeking to train veterans to run small businesses that work with the government.  After almost 20 years of existence the NVSB is still working to promote veteran-owned businesses for government contract work.

Once a year the NVSB hosts the Veteran Entrepreneur Training Symposium.  The event, which will be held June 11-14 in 2012, “Brings government agencies, industry leaders and Veteran entrepreneurs together in a small, intimate forum to discuss issues affecting Veteran-owned companies.”

It seems logical for veteran-owned businesses to work with the federal government.  The National Veteran Small Business Coalition works to promote small businesses owned by veterans for government contract work.  If you are a veteran involved in or interested in business check out the NVSB and the Veteran Entrepreneur Training Symposium.

  1. What a great support for Veterans. They need a place to start when they come home. I know from my family members who serve this support will be welcome.
