YouToo TV Joins Social Media and Television

You can now be on TV without leaving your couch.  Businesses are finding new and creative ways utilize social media everyday, and now YouToo TV combines social media and television.

YouToo TV, developed by YouToo.com and VIMBY (Video in My Backyard), uses an innovative technology that allows viewers to record and submit videos to be broadcast on the network.  Viewers can submit the videos using the Internet or a mobile device and the videos, called “Fame Spots”, will be filtered for content.  YouToo will be airing 500 viewer’s “Fame Spots” everyday.

“Since millions of people want to be on TV, we have an app for that,” said Chris Wyatt, CEO of Youtoo. “Think of it as Facebook meets TV, it’s the evolution of the social network. Legendary producer Mark Burnett, who owns VIMBY, is producing 250 programs for the network.  Mark Sears, the producer of “Dinner and a Movie” on TBS, is also producing content for YouToo.
