New Feature on Google Analytics

If you use Google Analytics to measure activity on your website look for changes to the layout.

Google Analytics launched a new feature, Flow Visualizations, to measure data.  The diagrams you can now view show user behavior based on variables such as location and browser.

The feature is based on Sankey diagrams, a type of flow chart.  Google SVP of ads Susan Wojcicki says 19th century Sankey diagrams charting the movements of Napoleons’ army were the inspiration.

Google Analytics will hopefully be more useful than ever.    Flow Visualizations helps you view data on visitors to your site in a new and refreshing way.
