What Small Business Owners Worry About
Small business owners are worried about a lot these days and a new survey reveals their biggest problems.
When Wells Fargo and Gallup polled 604 small business owners 22% of respondents ranked the government their top issue. In addition 15% of owners surveyed said they are worried about consumer confidence in the economy and 12% said a decrease in consumer spending is their number one problem.
Many small business owners are feeling pessimistic about the coming year. One out of three individuals polled acknowledged they fear going out of business in 2012. The survey also found the optimism score of business owners dropped to minus three from zero in the second and third quarters of 2011.
With the economy still unstable it is not surprising to see another survey illustrating small business owner’s discouragement. Are you worried about the future of your business in 2012?
