Private Sector Added 110,000 Jobs in October

More jobs were created by small businesses last month than expected.

In October 110,000 jobs were added by the private sector.  The ADP National Employment Report predicted that the private sector would add only 101,000 jobs during the month.

Experts say the number isn’t high enough to mark a permanently positive change in the economy.

“It portrays a job market that’s improved a bit since earlier in the summer. But we’re still not generating the kind of job growth that’s going to be enough to bring down the unemployment rate quickly,” said David Resler, chief economist at Nomura Securities.

In a continuously rocky economy it is encouraging to hear any promising news.  Hopefully small businesses will continue to create jobs
