What Employees DON’T Want to Hear

What words are you tired of hearing around the office?  A recent study by Career Builder polled 5,300 employees to find the workplace jargon people are ready to kick to the curb.

Here are the results for the most hated office terms:

1. Outside the box

2. Low-hanging fruit

3. Synergy

4. Loop me in

5. Best of breed

6. Incentivize

7. Mission-critical

8. Bring to the table

9. Value-add

10. Elevator pitch

Does hearing any of the above make you cringe too?  And if you do use any of those terms a lot, it’s good to be aware others might not be fond of your word choice. Is there any other workplace jargon you’re ready to see go?
