Women Entrepreneurs Often Less Confident
What is the difference between men entrepreneurs and women entrepreneurs? According to a study by Babson College, women entrepreneurs are more likely to be wary of failure.
Babson College’s report, The 2010 Women’s Report, polled women entrepreneurs around the world. In the 59 economies the study examined there were 104 million women entrepreneurs. One trait distinguished many of these women from the majority of men entrepreneurs in their community, it was fear. Women entrepreneurs very often have more anxiety about success than men do. American women’s responses to the study were average, many of them citing they worry about failing frequently. Meanwhile women in Finland, Norway, Denmark, Iceland and Sweden were more confident.
