Who Inspired You?

Who inspired you to become an entrepreneur?  A new contest from Babson and Mashable challenges entrepreneurs to share an motivating story about the person that provoked them to start a business.

Your small business role model might be a close friend or family member, or a famous figure you have never met.  Either way you are invited to enter the contest and win an iPad or App Store gift card.

  1. What a great idea to learn about those who inspired us. My mentors were Bill Daniels, and John McMullen. Bill was one of the founders of the cable industry, he had a great personality and was the most fair person I ever worked with. He modeled generosity, and great inspiration. John McMullen former owner of the Houston Astros, and New Jersey Devils took time to teach me about business and opportunities. He taught me that not everything succeeds but if you keep working at it some things do succeed. So learn from the failures and enjoy the successes.
