Good News for Women Business Owners
Women-owned businesses are doing better than ever.
Although only 1.8% of U.S. businesses owned by women make over $1 million a year, compared to 5.3% of all businesses in the country, the number of high-earning women-owned businesses is on the rise.
Women business owners are doing better than they were 10 years ago, according to a report from American Express. However, the report states that their businesses most struggle in the $250,000 to $499,000 revenue bracket.
With the economy steadily improving in the U.S., hopefully all businesses will see increases in revenue this year.
