How Marital Status Affects Decision
Does the marital status of small business CEOs determine what kind of risks they take? According to a new survey from the Wharton School of Business it does.
The survey found that single CEOs may take bigger risks. The CEOs studied that were not hitched report making more decisions that have the potential to dramatically help or hurt their business. Married CEOs are also less like to spend dollars on acquisitions and capital investments.
For years studies have found that single men tend to be greater risk takers than married men in many areas of their lives.
