The Fail Rate of Startups

Launching a successful startup require innovation, courage, hard work, planning, and often good look.  Most entrepreneurs have faced at least one failure, and we are all aware that even the best ideas do not always take off.  However, recent research shows that the rate of failure among startups might be even higher than previously thought.

Shikhar Gosh, of Harvard Business School, recently released data showing that about 75% of startups fail.  Previous research shows that only around 25% of startups are unsuccessful.

Launching a startup is always risky, possibly more risky than we believed.  Would you launch your dream startup knowing that three out of four startups may fail?
