Facebook More Important Than Websites?
What is more important to consumers, a company’s Facebook page or it’s website? Certainly it depends what business and which consumers are asked, but a recent study revealed that half of consumer may value Facebook pages more than websites.
Lab42 recent surveyed about 1,000 consumers about the importance of Facebook brand pages. More than 80% of participants agree that Facebook is a great way to interact with businesses. An additional 77% reported that they have saved money using deals and updates from brand pages. Most surprisingly about half of the individuals in the study said that they judge a business more by their Facebook page than by their website.
Beware of posting on your Facebook page too often though. About three-fourths of survey participants said they unlike pages that are too active.
